New England Patriots cornerback Alfonzo Dennard has reported to a Lincoln jail to begin his 60-day term for a 2012 assault on a police officer. Corrections officers with the Lancaster County Adult Detention Facility who spoke on condition of anonymity because of jail policy said Dennard reported to the Lincoln facility Saturday morning. The 24-year-old former Nebraska football standout will have to serve at least 35 days.
